As Luca Marini continues his recovery in Japan, Joan Mir will be the standard bearer for Honda HRC Castrol at the Aragon GP.
The Grand Prix of Aragon marks the eighth round of the ever-changing 2025 MotoGP World Championship season. Set in the hills just outside Alcañiz, MotorLand Aragon was introduced onto the calendar in 2010 and has produced a number of exciting races with Honda riders winning seven premier class races there since 2011.
Joan Mir is aiming to improve on his Silverstone form and put together another complete weekend on the Honda RC213V. Aragon has been one of Mir’s more consistent circuits in the premier class with two podium finishes and scoring points on each of his race starts at the track. It will be a busy weekend for the #36 as the lone representative in Honda HRC Castrol colours with a post-race test on Monday a chance to confirm the work of the Test Team.
Luca Marini will continue to recover from his testing fall in Japan and will not be replaced for the Aragon round.
